Leaders struggle to deliver difficult messages, give feedback and discuss conflict. Leaders under- or over-communicate being too aggressive or too passive. Team culture isn't harmonious and relationships are strained within the team. Supervisors and managers focus either primarily on business outcomes or relationships, without striking a necessary balance. Supervisors and managers aren't leveraging performance management and development tools to support their direct reports.
