Through practical advice, tools and stories, the author provides a human-centered approach to gathering that will help readers to create meaningful, memorable experiences, large and small, for work and for play. ###### Our Key Takeaways from *The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why It Matters* While it seems obvious, the “The Art of Gathering” book brings to life the importance of knowing your audience and your reasons for calling people together. Don’t just “meet to meet” and don’t just invite more people so that they’re not left out. We need to be intentional when we gather—be it for a dinner party or a work meeting. Our gatherings need to have a specific purpose in mind. We should easily answer the questions: who is involved and why are they here? Our meeting members and guests should be able to easily answer those questions for themselves as well.
