Respect First: Workplace Harassment Prevention

As a manager or supervisor, you have a special responsibility to protect employees and the organization from the consequences of workplace harassment.

As a manager or supervisor, you have a special responsibility to protect employees and the organization from the consequences of workplace harassment. As such, you are often the first source of assistance for a harassed employee. This program will better prepare you for the task of preventing and resolving workplace harassment incidents in your work area. Respect First provides clear-cut ways for dealing with a problem that is often anything but clear-cut. Important methods for determining the difference between behavior that is friendly and behavior that constitutes harassment will be presented. Laws and policies that govern harassment in the workplace will be explained and methods for resolving such situations will be detailed.

Consider this program if you know:

  • Your organization has recently implemented a workplace harassment policy and procedures for handling it.
  • Managers and supervisors are concerned about maintaining a harassment-free environment.
  • Incidents of workplace harassment complaints are more frequent than you would like.
